Haiti - Culture : The National Carnival 2020, will be held in Port-au-Prince (Official)

In a note dated January 15, 2020, Jean-Michel Lapin, the Minister of Culture, also acting Prime Minister, informs that the official organization of the National Carnival will be held this year in Port-au-Prince, under the theme "Ann pote kole pou Ayiti dekole".
This important cultural event which belongs to the Haitian tradition, will take place on February 23, 24 and 25, 2020, at the expense of the state authorities.
Minister Lapin wishes everyone a happy Carnival and encourages the participation of culture and arts professionals in these popular festivities.
