Friday, President Jovenel Moïse, carried out the first stage of a tour in the northern region (North and North-East) of the country, to meet the population and learn about the progress of several infrastructure projects underway in the municipal sections.

He first went to Maïssade (Center) to participate in the inauguration of the new administrative complex of the commune which brings together the Peace Tribunal, the offices of the registrar and the National Office of Identification (ONI).

Subsequently in the company of Ministers Jouthe Joseph (Economy), Fritz Caillot (Public Works) and Enold Joseph (Defense) the Head of State visited various infrastructure works (roads and bridges) which are being carried out in several communal sections.

At La Victoire (Dept. Nord), accompanied by the population, Moïse walked to the Place d'Armes where he addressed the citizens and asked for their support for the many reforms he is carrying out within public administration.

Arrived at Mombin Crochu and in Vallières (Dept. North-East), President Jovenel Moïse who was acclaimed by the citizens, listened to the local authorities who, after welcoming the work in progress and the construction of the road section Vallières / Mombin Crochu, a campaign promise from the President, which has become a reality that will ease traffic and promote trade in the municipalities of Pignon, Vallières and other neighboring communities, expressed their concerns and grievances to the President.
