PetroCaribe : continuation of the hearings

On Monday, investigating judge Ramoncite Accimé continued his hearings, as part of an investigation into the management of the PetroCaribe funds. He questioned former Minister of Planning Jude Hervé Day for several hours, who claims to have answered all of the questions.

Strategic change at PNH

As part of the implementation of a new security plan, the Haitian National Police (PNH) has made two strategic changes. 10 years in prison for raping a minor

Friday, February 7, the judge Emmanuel Vertilaire of the Court of First Instance of Cap-Haitien pronounced a sentence of 10 years of imprisonment and 5 million gourdes of compensation to the victim, against the former candidate for the deputation (district of Cap-Haitian) Lafortune Alouidor (50) arrested in December 2017 for sexual assault followed by pregnancy to the detriment of her daughter-in-law then aged 14.
