Saturday afternoon on rue des Miracles near the Cathedral of Port-au-Prince, unidentified armed individuals opened fire on passers-by and small merchants, causing a huge panic, the merchants abandoning their goods on the sidewalk, seeking shelter...

Provisional unofficial assessment of the attack, at least 8 people killed and an unknown number of wounded, including 2 seriously who were rushed to hospital.

After this carnage, the attackers fled by motorcycle without being worried in the absence of the police...

The situation of confusion and panic was such and the different versions, that it is impossible at the moment to know what led these criminals to shoot the innocent...
