Haiti - Covid-19 : Prayer of his holiness Pope Francis

Wednesday, the Cardinal Vicar of Rome Angelo De Donatis presided over a mass at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Divine Love south of the Italian capital. A ceremony which ended a day of prayer and fasting for Rome, Italy and the world, as the coronavirus epidemic progresses https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-30307-haiti-covid-19-daily-bulletin-march-19-2020.html

A video message from Pope Francis was broadcast to the faithful present in the Marian sanctuary, a prayer composed by the Holy Father in which he asked the Virgin for special protection for the Roman people and for all those who are affected these days around the world by the suffering and illness caused by the Covid-19 coronavirus.

Prayer of Pope Francis :

"O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope.

We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick.

At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain,

with steadfast faith.

You, Salvation of the Roman People, know what we need.

We are certain that you will provide, so that,

as you did at Cana of Galilee,

joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial.

Help us, Mother of Divine Love,

to conform ourselves to the Father’s will

and to do what Jesus tells us:

He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us,

through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen.

We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God.

Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin."

This Friday, March 20, starting at 3:00 pm, in all the parishes, religious communities and chapels of the Archdiocese of Port-au-Prince, there will be the exhibition of the Blessed Sacrament during which will be recited the rosary of Divine Mercy followed by the Prayer of Pope Francis.
