Haiti - FLASH : Covid-19, 10 new cases and 1 more death

The Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP) informs of 10 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 bringing the total as of April 22, 2020 to 72 cases, including 65 active, 5 deaths and 2 healing.

The new death is a 32 year old man who had a fever, a dry cough and big respiratory problems, the MSPP specifies that this person drank and smoked a lot which complicated the case.

Currently there are 690 suspected cases in Haiti, of the 72 confirmed cases 62.5.3% are men and 37.5% of women, 47 are imported cases and 25 are community cases.

84 people are in quarantine at the hospital and 292 at home.
