Haiti - Economy : Fuel prices will be revised downward

Prime Minister Joseph Jouthe has announced that fuel prices at the pump will be revised downward, adding that the new prices for diesel, gasoline and kerosene will be available this weekend on the website of the Ministry of Finance and of the Economy, specifying that a firm won the call for tenders launched by the Office for Monetization of Development Aid Programs (BMPAD).

In addition, Prime Minister Jouthe downplayed the statements of certain public transport unionists in the media, according to which the authorities want to deceive the vigilance of the population through this decision, to increase the price of fuels at the pump in the coming month.

The Head of Government invited these trade unionists to work with the authorities concerned instead of disseminating false information in the media.
