"It is with great sadness that the Government, as a whole, learned of the death of the Secretary of State for Social Affairs, Emmanuel Cantave, Tuesday June 9, 2020 from Covid-19, while he suffered from illness heart and had already undergone several surgeries. This unexpected departure created a stir among members of the government.

The news of his sudden disappearance plunges into dismay not only his family, but also the various relatives, colleagues, collaborators and friends."
