Haiti - FLASH : 3 earthquakes in 48 hours near Port-au-Prince

In 48 hours the earth has trembled 3 times in the West Department

Thursday in the Department of the West at 2h54 and 48 seconds of the morning, occurred an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.2 on the Richter scale whose epicenter was located at 18.524 degrees North, -72.256 degrees West, at a depth of 10km, 3 km northeast of Pétion-ville, at the level of the Frères's road not far from the Academy of the Haitian National Police (PNH).

On Friday at 3:07 a.m. and 30 seconds in the morning, an earthquake of a magitude 3.0 on the Richter scale occurred, the epicenter of which was located at 18.499 degrees North, -72.194 degrees West, at a depth of 10km, 11 km South East of Pétion-ville, 10 km South of Croix-des-Bouquets.

Also on Friday, 5 hours later, more precisely at 8:28 a.m. and 55 seconds in the morning, another earthquake with a magnitude of 3.1 occurred on the Richter scale, whose epicenter was located at 18.418 degrees North, -72.317 degrees West, at a depth of 10km, 14 km South East of Port-au-Prince, 5 km South East of Kenscoff.

No damage was reported by the Directorate of Civil Protection for these 3 earthquakes.
