Haiti - FLASH : President Moïse announces the reopening of the international airport no later than June 30 22/06/2020 10:41:07
Sunday, June 21, at Toussaint Louverture International Airport, President Jovenel Moïse, conducted a follow-up visit of the development work aimed at facilitating compliance with sanitary measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19, in the prospects of resumption of international flights. During his visit, he announced the reopening of the airport no later than June 30, 2020, specifying that the official date will be known in the coming hours, stating "The resumption of scheduled flights will have positive benefits for the country" while stressing that the population will have to continue to apply the barrier measures [which are very little followed in the city and practically ignored in the provinces] and learn to live with the disease...
