Haiti - FLASH : No American visas for new students whose courses are 100% online

Friday July 24 the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has announced that the new international students will not be able to obtain visas to enter the United States to attend classes at an American school at the start of the school year, if these Courses are 100% online, which is likely to be the case at many universities due to the Covid-19 epidemic.

Note that nearly one million international students study in the United States and that before the pandemic, it was already impossible to obtain a student visa to take courses only online.

Remember that at the beginning of July the Trump administration announced in early July that it would not allow foreign students already present to stay in the country if their courses were only online at the start of the school year and that the visas of the foreign students concerned would be dismissed...

A decision that Harvard universities and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) immediately challenged in court, forcing the Republican government to reverse its decision.
