OEA : Chancellor Joseph discusses elections
As part of his official working visit to Washington DC, Chancellor Claude Joseph met with Nestor Mendez the Assistant Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS) together they discussed issues of regional interest. In addition, Chancellor Joseph met with Luis Almagro the Secretary General of the OAS to discuss the upcoming elections in Haiti. After this meeting Almagro said, "I have met with Chancellor Claude Joseph to discuss cooperation between the OAS and Haiti. We welcome the initiative to undertake consultations for a new CEP and urge all sectors to participate in view of the upcoming elections," Luis Almagro
The PNH is preparing new strategies
Rameau Normil, the Commander-in-Chief of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) is active alongside the senior executives of his command, in the development of new strategies as well as their appropriate application in the field, in order to suppress banditry, crime and restore public peace.
Construction of the Saint-Martin learning center
Dikel Delvariste, Director General of the National Institute for Vocational Training (INFP) accompanied by the General Coordinator of the Coordination Unit of Vocational Training Programs (UCPFP), carried out a supervisory visit to the construction site of the first phase of the Saint-Martin Learning Center, the inauguration of which is scheduled for March 2021.
