Haiti - Qatar 2022 World Cup : Our Grenadiers know their opponents for the 1st round
On Wednesday in Zurich (Switzerland), the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), made the draw for the preliminary rounds of the Concacaf zone (Confederation of North America, Central America and the Caribbean) for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Following the draw, Haiti was seeded in Group E, alongside the selections of Nicaragua, Belize, Saint Lucia and Turks & Caicos Islands.

For this campaign which promises to be quite long, the Grenadiers are already determined and have a schedule with two home matches at the Sylvio Cator Stadium.

For the first match on the calendar, our Grenadiers will face the Belize Jaguars at home on October 8, 2020 on the lawn of the Sylvio Cator Stadium in a difficult health context...

Our Grenadiers will play their second game on the road on 11 October against the Saint Lucia team on the lawn of the "Georges Odlum stadium".

Haiti will then play away to the Turks & Caicos Islands at the TCIFA Academy on November 14, 2020 before receiving at home for its last match at the Sylvio Cator Stadium the "Pinoleros" of Nicaragua on November 17

Our National Selection must win this first phase to reach the second round and challenge the winner of Group B where the team that will win a double duel will have the chance to play the last final round with 8 selections.

While waiting for a rally which should begin on October 5 and the formalization of the new national coach who will succeed French Marc Collat, Haiti wanting to keep the traces of the recent Gold Cup, could have in its ranks several high-caliber players who can further strengthen our national selection.
