Haiti - FLASH : The PNH on maximum alert

Monday in the presence of Minister Rockefeller Vincent, the Commissioner of the Government of Port-au-Prince Me Souvenir Jenty and senior officers of the PNH, Normil Rameau, the Director General ai of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) following the meeting of emergency strategy held the day before, announced at a joint press conference at the Ministry of Justice, that the National Police was on maximum alert throughout the national territory, specifying "All police stations various jurisdictions of the country as well as the specialized units of the PNH have received formal instructions in order to deal with the climate of insecurity which has already claimed several victims during the past week."

Normil Rameau guaranteed that all the authors and co-authors of the assassinations recorded in recent days in the Haitian capital will be arrested and then brought before the competent authorities "Regardless of their political affiliation, these thugs will be identified and arrested" indicated the Commander in Chief of the PNH, while recalling that the police institution was apolitical.

"Zero tolerance for bandits," said Normil Rameau, addressing all law enforcement officers saying, "Bandits must change jobs or they will be put in prison or neutralized by law enforcement."
