Haiti - PetroCaribe : Dominican firms reject the accusations of the 3rd report of the CSC/CA 01/09/2020 11:21:33

In addition, he recalls that the Haitian state still owes Rofi more than $50 million, which is delaying the completion of certain works. Bautista says he regrets “that this audit was carried out without giving us the opportunity to present our objections, duly supported by official documents from the Haitian State. " Finally, he regrets that since 2014 he has sent 11 correspondence to the Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation, to the Ministry of Finance and to the Housing and Public Buildings Construction Unit (UCLBP) "in the interest of reconciling accounts and Establish a timeline to complete the work in progress ”but never received a response. For its part, the Dominican firm "Ingeniería Estrella" in Haiti clarified that all PetroCaribe contracts were obtained in compliance with the law and that all the works have been completed, inaugurated and are operational.
