Atlanta : Haitian Consulate closed

The Consulate General of Haiti in Atlanta is advising the Haitian community that its premises will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2020 on the occasion of the federal festival "Labor day".

Tabarre : Gang war one dead several injured

On Friday armed clashes between rival gangs in the commune of Tabarre more specifically in Butte Boyer, Croix-des-Missions and Marécage left at least one dead and several injured.

The PNH Union announces a march

Tennis US Open: Naomi Osaka qualified in 8th finals

Friday after her qualification Wednesday for the 3rd round against the Italian Camila Giorgi in two sets (6-1, 6-2) it took a little more than 2h30 and 3 sets for the Japanese Naomi Osaka of Haitian origin to finish with defeat the Ukrainian Marta Kostyuket 6-3, 6-7 (4/7) 6-2 and qualify for the round of 16 of the US Open.

In 8th Naomi (9th in the world) will face this Sunday the Estonian Anett Kontaveit (24 years old) (21st in the world).
