The PNH regains control of Bel Air with its armored vehicles

Wednesday after several hours of violent armed clashes and heavy gunfire, the Haitian National Police with the help of its armored vehicles regained control of the Bel Air neighborhood which had been the scene of fighting between gangs from August 29 to 31 confirmed the spokesperson of the PNH Michael Ange Louis Jeune, stressing that no loss of life is to be deplored on the police side. Damage to the tanks has been reported but no official report has been made on this subject.

Construction of 600 housing units for police officers

On Wednesday at the Prime Minister's office, the Prime Minister, Joseph Jouthe launched the construction work of 600 housing for the police, constructions which are technically the responsibility of the Public Enterprise for Promotion and Social Housing (EPPLS).

The acute food crisis worsens

Announcement of a call for candidates for the Thesis Prize

BelO awarded for his song "Eda"

The song "Eda" interpreted by Jean Belony Murat aka "BelO" won 2 distinctions: "the Grand Prix" and "Fandmonium" at the international music competition organized by Unsigned Noly, among 7,000 cadidatures of artists submitted from 109 countries.
