Saturday, September 19, the former Minister of the Economy and Finance (March 2016 to March 2017) Yves Romain Bastien under the transitional government of Jocelerme Privert died in Lyon, France, where he was being treated for cancer according to our information.
Reacting to this sad news, the de facto ex-President Jocelerme Privert, wrote on his Twitter account "More than a friend, Yves was for me a close collaborator, a rigorous man, a devoted patriot for whom I had a lot of esteem.
