On the occasion of 50 years of the Agence universitaire Francophonie (AUF), the Bureau Caraïbe joins this year the 17th edition of Livres en Folie and the two weeks of book in Haiti, two major international events that will host 134 authors signatures, and more than 1,400 titles available.

On June 23, 2011, from 10:00am to the Parc historique de la Canne à Sucre, Tabarre, the Bureau Caraïbe will unveil through a stand made ​​available by the organizers of Livres en Folie its range of digital content, on this day the focus will be put, among other things on, the website of Savoirs en partage, the online library of savoirs en partage, ScholarVox AUF : platform of digital books and the publications of the AUF: scientific journals, etc...

As a prelude to this great event the Bureau Caraïbe of the AUF offers to the public a series of panel discussions animated by writers and academics Haitian. On June 21 from 9:00am to 2:00pm will take place at the Bureau Caraïbe - Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) located at 51, rue Dufort, Bois Verna, an Open Day at CNFP, with the theme, bibliographic resources online.

On June 22 from 10:00am to 1:00pm will take place a panel discussion at the University Quisqueya, with the theme, Crossing Glances on the Haitian Constitution: yesterday, today and tomorrow with as guest Fritz Deshommes, Me Montferrier Dorval (unconfirmed), Me Bernard Gousse, the moderator will be Mirlande Manigat.

On June 22 in the afternoon will be inaugurates the digital space, Espace polyvalent - INUQUA (Blvd15 Octobre, Tabarre 43).

On June 23 from 10:00am, Exhibition of digital documents of the AUF to the Parc historique de la Canne à Sucre, Tabarre, digital education to the service of the Haitian universities: Digital Libraries of the AUF, videoconferencing demonstration, press conference at noon.

On June 27 from 9:00 am to noon, will be held at the Faculty of Science - UEH located at 270, Angle Rues Msgr. Guilloux and Joseph Janvier a panel discussion on the theme An Island for two: Haiti and the Dominican Republic ?, it will be moderated by Jean Marie Théodat.

And finally on July 1 9:00 to 12:00 will take place a panel discussion, with the theme, the circle of writers : Crossing Glances, with as guest Gary Victor, Évelyne Trouillot, Kettly Mars and as moderators Darline Alexis and Jean Marie Théodat, the conference will be held in the Auditorium Ste Rose de Lima to Lalue.
