A hundred Haitians turned back at the border
On Sunday, many Haitians were arrested at the Pedernales border by the Dominican armed forces as part of a migration control operation. About 100 Haitians were turned away at the Anse-à-Pitres border, most of them in an irregular migration situation and in possession of false Dominican documents.

Nutrient deficiencies have serious consequences
Deficiencies in nutrients and vitamins such as vitamin A, folic acid and iodine have serious consequences, especially on pregnant and breastfeeding women and children under five. The "Ranfòse Abitid Nitrisyon pou Fè Ogmante Sante" (RANFÒSE) project of the American Agency for International Development (USAID-Haiti), implemented by "Partners of the America" and "Global Alliance" for a better nutrition, works with the Ministry of Health and the private sector to ensure that the Haitian population now has access on the local market to flour enriched with iron, zinc, folic acid and other B vitamins, oil enriched with vitamin A and iodized salt. To date, 76% of the flour and 65% of the oil sold on the Haitian market are fortified.

Psychological writer Raynel Paul is the winner of the 18th Edition of the Joseph D. Charles Prize from the Georges Castera Library in Limbé for his work entitled "Au bout des mots". The work presents a new perspective on the situation of girls and boys living in children's homes
