Haiti - Elections : High-level meeting of the OAS on technical and financial support to ONI

Thursday, October 29, a special high-level meeting of the Organization of American States (OAS) was held by videoconference, between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Haiti, Claude Joseph, the Permanent Representative of Haiti to the OAS, Ambassador Léon Charles, the Director of the Office National d'Identification (ONI), Jude Elibert, the Special Representative of the OAS in Haiti, Cristobal Dupouy, and representatives of no less than 70 representatives of Member States and permanent observers of the OAS around the technical and financial support of the hemispheric organization to strengthen the capacities of the ONI in the perspective of the next elections in Haiti.
"A meeting of great importance for Haiti," said Chancellor Claude Joseph.
