On his way home on Tuesday 17th November, Jimmy Telson, 17, a student of NS III (Rétho), was fatally shot at Delmas 75 in incomprehensible circumstances. The attempted kidnapping put forward by the media was rejected by relatives of the victim. According to the latter, a person in a vehicle fired, for an unknown reason, at the car in which Jimmy Telson, one of his cousins and a driver were. Rushed to hospital Jimmy Telson did not survive his injury. The murderer fled without being worried.
PNH : Human toll of the opposition demonstration
On Thursday, Commissioner Michel-Ange Louis Jeune, Police spokesperson for the Haitian National Police, unveiled the human toll of the opposition protests on Wednesday, November 18. 3 police officers wounded (2 by stone, one by bullet) 1 opposition activist shot dead at the Champ de Mars (open investigation), 5 people arrested for acts of vandalism. Thursday at the Palace of Justice took place the swearing-in ceremony of 31 new lawyers.
