The data contained in the Trade Magazine of the Dominican General Directorate of Customs (DGA) indicates that the total exports for the period from January to October 2020 amounted to just over 8 billion US dollars, a decrease of 3, 12% (compared to the same period in 2019, taking into account the Covid-19 pandemic). 40.39% of exports are raw materials, 37.39% consumer goods, while the remaining 22.23% are capital goods.

The DGA report indicates that for the period from January to October 2020, 87.17% of Dominican exports of the national regime were concentrated in 10 countries of destination :

2 - United States: 13.78%;

3 - Canada: 12.22%

4 - Haiti: 11.66%;

5 - Puerto Rico: 5.30%;

6 - China: 3.96%;

7 - Netherlands: 3.84%,;

8 - India: 3.28%;

9 - South Korea: 1.73%;

10 - Jamaica: 1.69%

NOTE : The exports of the national regime represent 36.92% of all Dominican exports.
