Haiti - FLASH : Brides poll on the new Haitian Constitution
According to a public opinion poll carried out by the Office for Research in Informatics and Economic and Social Development (BRIDES) among 14,000 people aged 18 and over at a rate of 100 people per Commune on the project of a new Haitian Constitution , a majority is in favor and pronounces on several aspects that this new Constitution could contain.

Excerpts from the Brides Poll :

Question on the need for a new Constitution
I totally agree 36.3%
I agree 41.1%

Questions on the abolition of the post of Prime Minister and the introduction of the post of Vice-President

Respondents' response to the abolition of the post of Prime Minister:
I totally agree 23.0%
I agree 39.7%

Response from respondents to a Vice-President position:
I totally agree 21.7%
I agree 40.8%

Questions relating to the modification of the legislative power by an amendment of the constitutional laws :

Respondents' response for the legislative power to be amended and brought to a single chamber:
I totally agree 27.6%
I agree 38.7%

Respondents' response for the Senate to be removed from the Haitian Constitution:
I totally agree 25.1%
I agree 36.8%

Response from respondents so that the number of Deputies is reduced in the Haitian Constitution:
