Haiti - Women's Football : Women's Olympic Selection of Haiti in Aruba

In the absence of training facilities, of international standard at the moment, the Haitian Football Federation (FHF) had planned, that the selection goes to train in Dominican Republic from June 15 to 28 to prepare for the first round of the playoffs of London Olympics 2012. But financial difficulties have consistently postponed the date of departure and it is finally Thursday, June 23 that the team left Port au Prince to Santo Domingo. The women's national team took the opportunity to "crush" its counterpart from the Dominican Republic (5-0) in a friendly match, last Sunday before flying, yesterday Monday, June 27, from the airport Isabella of Santo Domingo by a charter of the Dominaican Company MAS for Aruba, an island of the Lesser Antilles, located off the coast of Venezuela. The team will return to Haiti by the same route on July 5.

Unfortunately the selection, again for financial reasons, has not been able to make come the two players of Valentina, Manoucheka Pierre-Louis and Adeline Saintilmond currently located in Canada, like other expatriates. Otherwise, all the major figures of the women's football are here, starting with those of the Tigresses, Valentina and more... To qualify, the team coached by Luc Elie Dorléans and Yvette Félix will compete with the teams of Cuba, Aruba and Suriname to hope to take part in the final tournament of CONCACAF, which will be held in Vancouver in 2012.
