Monday as part of his weekly live talk "Ti kozri avek pèp la" broadcast via his Facebook page and other online platforms, Jovenel Moïse promised for the umpteenth time, to put an end to the phenomenon of kidnapping.

He believes that political hands who oppose the reforms are hiding behind the kidnappings, stressing that the cases of kidnapping have increased after the announcement of the preparations for the elections last October explaining that "Faced with the reforms, there are always great resistance from those for whom the'status quo' is favorable [...]"

Recalling "[...] Resistance comes in the form of 'peyi lòk, kraze brize, boule ' of destruction, fires, intimidation, verbal violence and it also comes in the form of kidnappings [...] I give you the guarantee that the godmothers and godfathers of the kidnapping will be apprehended and no one will be able to talk about political persecution or abuse of power [...]" warning [...] Those who use kidnappings for political ends, for destabilization purposes, we will come to you,", warned the Head of State with force.
