Haiti - Education : Beginning tomorrow of the baccalaureate exams for 134.995 candidates
After the official examinations of the 6th year of basic education (fundamental), of the 9th year of basic education (nearly 180.000 students) it is the turn of the 3rd State examination, the Bac first part (Rhéto), to be on the starting line.

Bac exams will be held from tomorrow Monday (134.995 candidates), on the whole territory of Haiti and will conclude July 6. The second part of Bac (Philo), will run from July 11 to 14.

Renan Michel, the Director of National Bureau of State Examination (BuNexE) stressed the importance of the accuracy "...we ask the candidates to arrive on time in their examination centers, because after 30 minutes of delay no candidate will have access to the examination room" reminding to the candidates that decent attire is required, both for boys than for girls. In addition, Renan Michel clarified that "the Ministry gives to the candidate a sheet in good condition, when it will collect them, it does not want a sheet folded, if the sheet is folded or pleated, even if it passes the examination center, it will not be corrected."

Disciplinary measures are envisaged so that these examinations are carried out under the best conditions, has affirmed for his part Jackson Pléteau, the Director of secondary education. The identification of candidates was strengthened and they must be equipped with the usual card and a duplicate to have access to the examination rooms. "For mathematics and physics, calculators must be non-programmable" and cell phones are prohibited "Students will not be able to enter in the examination rooms with their cell phones and all communication will be prohibited, whether internal or external". If a candidate does not respect these rules, it will be immediately sanctioned.
