Haiti - FLASH : Earthquake 19 km south-west of Belle Anse

This Sunday, February 7, 2021 at midnight 6 minutes and 37 seconds (00:06:37), an earthquake of magnitude 3.6 on the Richter scale occurred at sea off Belle Anse (South-East Dept.) to 18,071 degrees North latitude, 72,128 degrees West longitude, at a depth of 10 km.

The epicenter was located at sea 19 km south-west of Belle Anse (south-east), 55 km south-east of Port-au-Prince (west), 46 km south-east of Jacmel (south) ,

This low-intensity earthquake was felt mainly in the South-East and Nippes departments.

No damage has been reported for the moment by the municipal committees of Civil Protection.
