Haiti - Economy : 2nd round of negotiations between the Haitian and Dominican companies

The Dominican Center for Science and Technology (CEDOTEC) and HOPE a group of small and medium Haitian enterprises, will hold from July 5 to 8 a second round of negotiations in the city of Cap Haitien and Plaisance. Beyond the strictly commercial aspects, five workshops, will allow to address many key issues : Agricultural Production - Transfers industrial scientific and technological - Potable water - The irrigation and land drainage and the purification of water in agro-industrial culture not covered.

Discussions and negotiations will cover many topics such as : the marketing of food products without intermediaries [sausage, wheat flour and corn, pasta, rice, tomato sauce, juice and sodas... Negotiations in the field of materials and construction equipment, plastics, cosmetics and other industrial products of toilet... Of the request of insurance services, health and medicine... as well as of the possibilities to establish financial products and services for merchants on both sides of the border : debit or credit card or other financial instruments to reduce the use of cash and facilitate the commercial transactions.
