Haiti - Economy : Big European Tour for President Martelly

The President Michel Martelly, will leave Haiti, Wednesday, July 6, 2011, for a European tour of 10 days, he will visit, among others, the Spain, France, Belgium and Great Britain.
During this working trip, which aims to promote a new image of Haiti, the President Martelly will meet with heads of State and of government of several countries, and with various potential investors. The main objective is to find economic opportunities and financial support for the revival of the national economy. The Head of State intends to motivate the interested investors, reassure the traditional donors and encourage the tourists and potential consumers to have confidence in the "brand" of Haiti.
This will be also an opportunity for the President to remake the image, too long tarnished, of Haiti, to abroad, but also the time to strengthen the bilateral relations with most countries in Europe, to obtain the maximum of collaboration.
The revival of the national economy will be done necessarily by the production, the market creation for Haiti, the strengthening of bilateral relations and the promotion of the image of Haiti throughout the world. The President applies with all his energy and requests the support of all.
