Haiti - NOTICE : National Essay and Eloquence Contest, registrations open

As part of the International Day of Monuments and Sites, also called World Heritage Day, celebrated each year on April 18, Sco Tour Haiti (STH) and the Haitian Women in Tourism Initiative (IFTH) are launching at the intention of students and academics, the first edition of the National Essay and Eloquence Contest on Built Heritage in Haiti, intended for NS4 schoolchildren and academics.

The theme of this competition is "The conservation of my country's heritage, I am committed !"

1st Phase :

Write a text on the following subject : Advocacy for better management of monuments and sites in Haiti. Texts should be between 3 and 5 pages, Time New Roman type, 1.5 line spacing.

2nd Phase :

Oral presentation of the text: Participants must meet the following conditions:

• Have a minimum NS4 academic level

• Do not exceed the age of 30

• Be a pupil / student of an educational institution

Texts must be sent no later than March 20, 2021 at 11:59 a.m. p.m., to the following email address: concoursifth@gmail.com

The awards ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, April 18, 2021.
