A Gang Leader shot dead in the North
One of the leaders of the "Aji Lives" Gang Mackendy Silmonor aka "Ti Féthière" was fatally shot in a firefight with police in Madras in the northeast. The US will actively monitor the elections in Haiti
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, interviewed in Congress by Congressman Andy Levine on Wednesday, responded that the United States will "actively monitor" the elections announced this year in Haiti to be "genuinely free and fair."

Rehabilitation of CLACs
After the installation of solar panels to allow the Reading and Cultural Animation Center (CLAC) to fully pursue their activities, at regular times, the National Book Directorate (DNL) begins operations to rehabilitate the physical spaces of these centers. Renovation of the Anse-à-Veau police station
