The President of the Republic of Haiti, Jovenel Moïse, met this Monday, March 15, 2021 with the Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Mr. Luis Almagro.

"I had, with the Secretary General, Luis Almagro this Monday, March 15, an interview which focused exclusively on security. During this exchange, I asked this important Organization for technical support to the PNH in order to fight effectively against banditry and terrorism," informed the President Jovenel Moïse.

For his part, the Secretary-General clarified, "In meeting with the President of Haiti, Jovenel Moïse, I was asked to provide strong technical support from the Organization in matters of security."
