Haiti - Economy : Haitian companies looking for Dominican opportunities
Five companies in Haiti: Caribbean Craft, Sandilou, Huileries Haïtiennes SA, Caribbean Bottling Compagny SA and BHP Industries SA will participate from May 7 to June 4, 2021 in a virtual trade mission (via the Zoom platform) entitled "Business opportunity with Haitian companies".

This mission aims to present the products of these companies and explore business opportunities in collaboration with the Chambers of Commerce of the Dominican Republic.

This initiative is supported by the Caribbean Export Development Agency, which joins the Delegation of the European Union in the Dominican Republic, the Delegation of the Office of the National Authorizing Officer of the European Development Fund to the Ministry of Cooperation, the planning of the Dominican Republic (MEPyD) and the Dominican Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Production (FEDOCAMARAS).

This program will be financed by the European Union with the aim of promoting economic integration between the two countries and supporting them in their development.

Recall that this binational cooperation program of cooperation between Haiti and the Dominican Republic, launched in 2012 by the European Union with an endowment of more than 50 million euros is intended to facilitate the integration of the two economies and meet the need to harmonize economic relations, while structurally supporting binational political dialogue.
