Haiti - COVID : The Bahamas extend the ban on travelers coming from or transiting through Haiti 13/05/2021 09:34:57
As the Bahamas seeks to manage the spread of the virus within its own borders, the Government, based on advice from health officials, has found it necessary to take this step to prevent risks to nationals and residents of the Bahamas, as well as for visitors, given the lingering uncertainties regarding the management of the pandemic in Haiti. It is also concerned that the Government of Haiti still has not accepted the Astrazeneca vaccine offered under the World Health Covax Facility, and still has not put an alternative measure for vaccination in place.
