Haiti - Qatar 2022 : Our Grenadiers pulverize the Turks and Caicos Islands team [10-0]
Saturday June 5, 2021 in Providenciales, (archipelago of the Caicos Islands), as part of the first round of the qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, our Grenadiers, on the lawn of the "TCIFA National Academy," have left no chance to the modest team of Turks and Caicos Islands, pulverize them on the final score of [10-0]

If our brave Grenadiers took a little time before finding the net in front of opponents well grouped in defense, Duckens Nazon opened the scoring in the 27' for the benefit of Haiti which shook the opposing team which has seemed unable to react conceding 3 other goals from Nazon at 30' 34' and 37' [4-0] followed by a 5th goal at 43' from Carnejy Antoine (new international player in this match [Club En Avant Guingamp, France] with Jeppe Simonsen [club SønderjyskE, Denmark].

Coming back from the locker room, Carnejy Antoine scored twice in the 54’ [6-0] ahead of largely dominated opponents. Frandzy Pierrot entered the field at 53 'instead of Duckens Nazon scored a first goal at 76' [7-0], Carnejy Antoine scored a hat-trick in this match at 83' [8-0] and Frandzy Pierrot completes the opposing team by also registering a hat-trick in this match at 87' and 90 + 3' [10-0].

This victory signed by the scorers Duckens Nazon (4 goals), Carnejy Antoine (3 goals) and Frandzy (3 goals), places the Grenadiers provisionally at the top of Group E with 6 points for a difference of +12 against Nicaragua 6 points for a difference of +10.

Our Grenadiers now have an appointment on Tuesday June 8 at 5:00 pm at the Sylvio Cator Stadium in Port-au-Prince to face Los Pinoleros from Nicaragua with the objective of keeping the lead of the standings which will allow them to qualify for the second round of these qualifiers. and play the winner of Group B, potentially Canada or Suriname.

To qualify for the second round, our Grenadiers must finish at least a draw or at best a victory.

The Haitian delegation will leave Providenciales this Sunday morning bound for Port-au-Prince and in the afternoon they will be on the training ground in order to better prepare the next important match for the rest of the competition.
