The DG of the PNH encourages his men to stop the bandits for good

As part of the state of maximum alert Léon Charles, the Director General a.i. of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) urged all police officers to close ranks because they are being targeted. "The police must remain on the alert and in a state of response to any possible attack. 'Se goumen li ye fòk nou mete pye nou atè, poun afwonte lènmi an'", hammered Charles, explaining "The PNH wants to adopt only one strategy : to face the enemies of Peace in order to stop them definitively." Cuba : Death of a scholarship student

The Embassy of Haiti in Cuba has learned with great sadness of the death of Keith on the evening of June 17, 2021, (passport number PP4885068), a scholarship student at the University of Oriente, in Santiago de Cuba. "In these times of hardship, the Diplomatic Mission shares its pain and would like to offer its sincere condolences, while wishing a lot of courage, to the parents, relatives, friends and to the Haitian student community in Cuba, saddened by this departure." The Embassy of Haiti maintains constant contact with the Cuban authorities for the appropriate follow-up of the case.

Embezzlement of public funds, the ULCC uses a drone

Investigators from the Anti-Corruption Unit (ULCC) used a drone to take an aerial view of a 5-carreaux property in Fermathe. This vast land had to accommodate for more than three years social housing for the benefit of the population. This drone verification, part of a misappropriation of one million US dollars, found that not a stone had been laid despite the disbursement of these public funds since March 2018.
