Haiti - Culture : Azor will have a state funeral
Lenord Fortune "Azor", singer and drumer of the band Racine Mapou de Azor who passed away, at the age of 46 years (June 19, 1965 - July 16, 2011), to the hospital Bernard Mevs, will have national funeral.

A peristyle and platforms will be erected in front of the Museum of the National Pantheon, this place will serve as a temple to give the last farewell to the one that had the drum in the soul and the music in the bowels.

On Friday, July 22, be be held an artistic vigil in honor of Azor on the Champ de Mars, from 6pm to midnight, thirty artists will be present.

Always Friday, Gracia Delva, the president of the Commission Culture, Communication and Tourism to the lower house, will pay tribute to the artist to the parliament.

The ceremony should take place this Saturday July 23, from 7am to 11am.

Saturday, body of Azor will arrive on the Champ de Mars on a horse-drawn carriage. Azor, the one who knew how to resound the drums, will posthumously decorated by Michel Martelly. Rasin Mapou will perform in honor of Azor before the body leaves for the crematorium Pax Villa to be cremated...
