Haiti - Flash Weather : The country under the influence of a tropical wave

A large area disorganized of rain and thunderstorms, associated to a tropical wave continues to influence the weather conditions in the Central Caribbean and on the island of Hispaniola. Haiti is found this Monday under the direct influence of this wave. The development of this system into a tropical storm is not expected within the next 24 hours. However, this system could generate heavy showers, thunderstorms with gusts that could affect the southern peninsula of Haiti, West, Centre, Artibonite and the rest of the country on Monday.
Therefore, the yellow alert level of the National Plan is declared, threats of heavy rain with risks of rockfalls, landslide and floods of intensity, wind gusts, severe thunderstorms especially for the departments of the South, Southeast, Grand-Anse, the Nippes, Western, Central and Artibonite.
