Haiti - Justice : Judges reluctant to investigate the investigation into the assassination of President Moïse 08/08/2021 09:25:19
The Dean of the Tribunal, Judge Bernard Saint-Vil has struggled since Thursday to find a judge who agrees to investigate the "explosive" file of the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse.
Several investigating judges told the dean they refused to investigate the attack that claimed the life of the President because of the dangers to which they will be exposed. This is a sensitive and political issue and the judges think first of their safety and that of their families.

However, on Saturday August 7, the situation remained unchanged, no voluntary judge was courageous or reckless enough to take charge of the investigation of this case...
