Haiti - Politic : Reactions of the President Martelly

In a statement, the President Michel Martelly expresses his stupefaction to the announcement, this Monday, July 25, of the tragic loss of the Deputy Dionald Polyte, [constituency Beaumont/Pestel] in circumstances not yet clear.

The Head of State expresses his sincere condolences to the members of his family, his colleagues of the 49th Legislature, his relatives and friends and to the population of Beaumont/Pestel.

The President asks to the police and judicial authorities to conduct an investigation to determine the exact circumstances under which the Parliamentary died.

Michel Martelly has renewed his faith in the establishment of a society built on the principles of the rule of law and the respect of the human person.
