PAHO/WHO : Donation of medical supplies and equipment Friday, August 27, the Pan American Health Organization and the World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO Haiti), delivered 87 pallets (86 m3) of supplies and medical equipment in Haiti to be sent to the departments of Nippes, Grand'Anse and the South affected by the earthquake of August 14, 2021. PAHO/WHO also provided logistical assistance to the partners of the International Medical Corps for the delivery of their mobile hospital units. CARICOM : Intervention of the PM On Friday morning, August 27, Ariel Henry, a.i. Prime Minister, intervened by videoconference at the 9th special session of the Bureau of the Conference of Heads of Government of CARICOM. The opportunity for the Head of Government to take stock of post-earthquake actions, emergency operations, the reconstruction plan, the passage of storm Grace, as well as the political situation.
