Haiti - FLASH : Control system for false Covid-19 tests at the international airport
Marie Greta R. Clément the Minister of Public Health draws the attention of the public in general and travelers in particular of the existence of a network of counterfeiters, which is dedicated against payment to the fraudulent performance of Covid-19 screening tests.

She says, "This dishonest practice may not only facilitate the spread of the pandemic, but also damage the credibility of accredited laboratories and the country."

Minister Clément recalls that laboratories have been certified and authorized to perform COVID-19 tests for travelers departing from Haiti.

The Minister urges travelers to avoid resorting to false tests whose use can be detrimental to them in more than one way. In the coming days, a control system will be put in place at Toussaint Louverture International Airport
which will detect false Covid-19 tests. She warned "Anyone caught in possession of such a document will not be able to travel and will face criminal prosecution for forgery."
