Haiti - MHAVE : Partnership with the Coalition of Haitian Diaspora Organizations

Tuesday, October 12, 2021, Ms. Judith Nazareth Auguste, Minister of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE), in her desire to give legal recognition to Diaspora organizations in their actions in Haiti, signed a framework partnership agreement between her Ministry and the Coalition of Haitian Diaspora Organizations (COODAH).

This partnership agreement aims to allow the Ministry to identify the Haitian skills of the Diaspora through organizations established outside the country. This agreement will also facilitate the integration of the Diaspora in all activities of the country. Diaspora organizations signatories to this agreement will soon be able to intervene in Haiti in various fields with the support of the Ministry.

With the signing of this partnership agreement, the two institutions have agreed to work together on sustainable development projects for the country.

The Minister took the opportunity to encourage other organizations in the Diaspora to follow suit in order to better defend the interests of the 11th department.
