Sunday, October 17, as part of a police operation in the Konasa area in the city of Cap-Haitien, the police seized 9 drums of gasoline which were to be sold on the black market at a cost of 750 gourdes per gallon. Police arrested in the house where the fuel was located 3 individuals identified as Estimés Milfort (26), Estimés Djoulito (20) and Renard Roudelin (17). An investigation is already underway and the police are looking for a certain Wanito and a certain Mary who are said to be the owner of these drums of fuel. Two new ordained priests Sunday October 17, 2021 in the Parish Church of Saint Gérard, (Carrefour feuille) Deacons Jokébed Léonard and Jonas Séide of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer were ordained priests by the Archbishop Emeritus of Cap Haitien, Mgr Louis Kébreau.
