Tuesday, November 16 in Port-de-Paix, the police and judicial authorities discovered in the evening, an illegal shipment of firearms during the disembarkation of the ship "El Shadaï" [which called in Miami and flying the flag of Tanzania (East Africa)].

Among the convictions pieces discovered 7 firearms, including 4 assault rifles and 3 handguns of caliber 9 millimeters were seized specified the judge Paul Blanc who made the report.

Judge Blanc also said that two people had been arrested in connection with this case and that an investigation was opened to identify the owner of these firearms and his accomplices.

The Departmental Section of the Judicial Police (SDPJ) received the file relating to this shipment of weapons
