Haiti - MJSAC : Minister Rival, announces the resumption of the inter-school championship

Raymonde Rival, the new Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (choice of the "Ansanm nou fò" party) during her installation in her new functions, in the presence of the outgoing Minister Pétricks Justin, supporters, Ministry employees and executives insisted in his speech for the occasion on the importance of citizenship before urging young people to mobilize for the development of the country and announce the resumption of school competitions.

The new Minister announced initiatives in the three sub-sectors of her Ministry (Youth, Sport and Civic Action). For her, the Ministry must be "a crossroads of reflections and a breeding ground for ideas and proposals."

"Citizenship will be at the heart of our actions in order to remind everyone of the role they are called to play within society and playing it fully will certainly allow us to think outside, for sure, to leave the country off the beaten track of discord and pave the way towards sustainable development," supported Raymonde Rival, who intends to focus on Civic Action in order to help bring peace to the country and create a climate favorable to the practice, in complete peace of mind, of sport across the country.

In sports, she promised to revitalize relations between the Ministry and national sports federations before announcing the resumption and recovery of the inter-school championship under the theme "Sports-Health-Education".

"Youth of my country, wake up, get to work. Come and participate in the development of your country because the Haiti of tomorrow is impossible without you. You are Haiti's strength," Minister Rival concluded, inviting young people to mobilize in the service of their country.

Note that Raymonde RIVAL is the third) woman to lead this ministry after Régine Lamur in 2017 and Magalie Racine in 2013.
