Haiti - Japan : Donation of ambulances and fire trucks to the PNH
Tuesday, December 21, 2021, as part of the strengthening of the intervention capacity of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), in the presence of Frantz Elbé Director General ai of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) of several authorities of the State of which Berto DORCÉ acting Minister of Justice and Public Security, Yuji KUBO, the new Ambassador of Japan in Haiti https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-35488-haiti-news-zapping.html, participated at the official handover ceremony for the donation of equipment for the ambulance centers and fire departments of the police institution.

This project, funded by Japan to the tune of US $571,000, provided the fire services and ambulance centers of the PNH with 3 fire trucks, 3 ambulance cars and 1 equipment transport truck.

These 7 utility vehicles are generously donated by Toyota City in Aichi Prefecture, Japan.



Frantz Elbé warmly thanked the Japanese ambassador for his government's support for the police institution and said he was counting on this partnership to "strengthen the fight against crime and organized crime in Haitian society".

Ambassador KUBO expressed Japan's commitment and goodwill to continue, together with other international partners, to support the Haitian National Police through the various aspects of cooperation.
