Bursts of automatic weapons are heard day and night sowing terror among the population against the backdrop of "urban guerrilla warfare"... On December 24, 2021, "Barbecue" and his men attacked Bel-Air; on December 31, they again attacked Bel-Air, but also "nan Maya and Kandjo". Nearly 15 people were reportedly killed and houses vandalized and destroyed by fire. On Sunday 2 December, a situation of panic reigned once more among the residents of the lower part of Delmas, particularly in Delmas 2, 4 and 6, while violent clashes with weapons of war left at least 10 dead and several wounded including in the ranks of the men of "Barbecue".
