"Right now, people are in what we call a situation of phase two: it is difficult to find food," said the representative of this institution, the agronomist Gary Mathies, the Phase 3 is a famine situation, however the CNSA is concerned that if a hurricane affects the agricultural production, we could enter phase 3. The representative of the National Coordination for Food Securitysaid that the lack of rain in March 2011 has also "damaged the gricultural production planned for August and September", there will be an amount of food less than expected.
